About the studio
A practice at the edge of algorithm and hand.
Vanguartisan works at the intersection of generative systems and maker craft. Each series begins with a computational seed — an algorithm, a rule set, a physics simulation — and ends with a human decision: this one, not that one.
Every piece in the collection is accompanied by a certificate of process, documenting the technical and conceptual decisions that led to its selection. Edition sizes are fixed at the point of publishing and never expanded.
